My friend Diana brought her KitchenAid over on the weekend so we could make mini pavlova!
We filled them with vanilla whip cream and topped with strawberries, kiwi, blueberry puree, and shredded coconut. The meringues were a little too sweet (recipe called for a cup of sugar) so we weren't able to eat them all up right away like we planned. Nevertheless they were good.
My attempt at the chocolate torta topped with hazelnut from Corso 32
I used the Corso 32 recipe posted in the local paper and am surprised it turned out pretty good. It wasn't as cakey as the original but I enjoyed the mousse texture. I will certainly be making this again.
