Sights of Saigon (Vietnam)

Dried shrimp

Tons and tons of motorbikes

Cu Chi Tunnels and Vietnam War Museum (Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon, Vietnam)

Tiny entrance to one of the tunnels. SCARY!

Entrance to one of the larger tunnels. I walked about 30 meters through it, absolutely
claustrophobic, I don't know how they did it

An example of one of the many traps they set up in the jungle

Cassava and sugar and peanut sauce

I also visited the War Remnants Museum which was really awful but educational. It's amazing how strong the Vietnamese people are to have experienced such atrocity

Agent Orange

What an unbelievable photograph. Left me speechless.

All the dead trees as a result of Agent Orange

Prisoners were kept in these tiny barbed wire cages out in the blistering sun

Hungry in Hoi An (Vietnam)

Amazings greens and herbs

Fried dough

YUM! French pastries

Cau Lau, a Hoi An specialty. SO GOOD! It's a chewy fresh noodle with herbs, grilled pork and a light broth

Passion fruit and chocolate mouse. Drool.

My G-Adventure roomate, Isabelle and my bike (rented it for 1$ for a whole day!). We found
this little food stall in the local market and ordered more cau lau.

Hoi An (Vietnam)

Hoi An, located in the middle of Vietnam is a charming little city by the water that has preserved its beautiful French and Chinese architecture and is home to a maze of tailor shops and nice little restaurants. During the day the sun socks the cobblestone streets and yellow painted shops and at night the streets and bridge of the old quarter are lit up by colorful lanterns and candles.

Halong Bay Cruise (Vietnam)

We had a two day boat cruise on a private junk boat. Unfortunately it was cloudy the whole timewe were there but thankfully I've been here before when it was sunny so I've seen the bay in all its glory
